DMRSTI Celebrates Victory Day 2024 with Pride and Reverence
The Dr. Engineer Mamunur Rashid Science and Technology Institute (DMRSTI) proudly observed and celebrated the Victory Day of Bangladesh on 16 December 2024 with a series of activities that paid tribute to the nation’s glorious past and inspired the youth to uphold the values of freedom and independence.

Victory Day commemorates the triumph of Bangladesh in the Liberation War of 1971, marking the nation’s emergence as an independent state. The celebrations at DMRSTI reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity, and gratitude towards those who sacrificed for the country’s freedom.
The day began with the hoisting of the national flag at the institute’s premises, accompanied by the rendition of the national anthem by students, faculty, and staff.

Discussion Session on the Liberation War
A special discussion session was held to reflect on the historic events of 1971, featuring an address by Dr. Engineer Mamunur Rashid, Founder and Chairman of DMRSTI.

Cultural Program

A moment of silence was observed in honor of the martyrs of the Liberation War, followed by the laying of floral wreaths at the institute’s Liberation War Memorial Corner.
